EDC Vegas After-Movie

Insomniac has released the official Post-Event Trailer for Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas 2012. Needless to say it was quite the event, drawing upwards of 100,00 like-minded individuals who could not have expected the amazing times to be had. I was personally lucky to attend the first-ever EDC NYC which will hopefully continue to expand for next year, however it will never be quite the spectacle that is EDC Las Vegas. Mat Zo Performs Would-Be EDC Set (FREE DOWNLOAD)

Due to traffic in Vegas over EDC weekend, rising star Mat Zo was unable to make it to the stage in time for his set at Above & Beyond's Group Therapy stage. Although many (including myself) were devastated by this turn of events, the man was kind enough to play what would have been his set at his next show, which happened to be at Pulse in St. Louis. This kid is going to be huge, and he's doing it in an unorthdox fashion. How unorthodox? Well, for starters the first song in his set features the one and only Nate Dogg. Jochen Miller - Summer + EDC Vegas Full Set (FREE DOWNLOADS)

For those of you not so familiar with trance music, I highly recommend you familiarize yourself with this huge wave lead by guys like Armin Van Buuren and Above & Beyond who paved the way for all the newer artists of today. Although trance does have its own distinct sound, the reality is that all the sub genres within electronic music are interconnected, and the boundaries are getting blurrier and blurrier by the day.
