ARTY - Together We Are: Ep 7 [FREE DOWNLOAD]

Dash Berlin - California Love [FREE DOWNLOAD]

Dutch producer Dash Berlin has released a treat for his fans. He has transformed Tupac and Dr. Dre's classic "California Love" into a euphoric, progressive trance masterpeice. It starts off slow, but right around 1:50 he introduces the sweet melody, and not long after comes the great chorus we all recognize. At around 3:15 it builds into the full, big-room sound and erupts. Give it a listen and download for free.

Trance Tuesday!

Trance Tuesday returns once again, and as always packed with the latest and greatest from the trance world. Above is the imagery from Global Gathering this past weekend in Poland, where Armin Van Buuren hosted his signature "A State Of Trance" Stage. For all the sets from ASOTGG, as it was called, click here. 


First up is a track that is currently topping the Beatport trance charts, W&W have had huge success in the past few weeks and this track "Moscow" is no exception with its bold yet melodic synth chords. Definitely be sure to check it out if you haven't already.


Next is a track I featured on last week's Trance Tuesday, but here is the high quality version of "Unity" by Audien, a tune that Above & Beyond has been playing in their "Trance Around the World" show for the past few weeks. Seriously, this track is extremely well-made from this young producer, and I'm kind of pissed I can't find a free download of it for you guys, and also just for my personal use. Anyways, you can enjoy as much as you want right here:

Up next is great track with a big room sound. Maor Levi's remix of "Mes Que Un Club" by M.I.K.E. starts with a nice melodic section and builds to a huge drop at 1:30. Maybe a bit more housey than trance, nonetheless have a listen and be sure to grab it when it comes out August 4th on High Contrast Recordings.

Lastly is a track that has been on the Beatport trance charts for a while from Argentinian duo Heatbeat. This track "Extra Bacon" packs heavy bass with great layers of synth beauty. The faint vocals compliment what is already a banger. Turn up your speakers, and end off Trance Tuesday with a bang with this heater. Download it for free right here!

Trance Tuesday!

Trance Tuesday returns after an extremely successful week last week, here to give you the best in the growing world of trance music. Up top is Arty's remix for Zedd's "Spectrum", as the young Russian gives it a more trancy feel than we've seen from all the other countless "Spectrum" remixes (see Armin Van Buuren's remix here). Below is another huge track from up and coming producer Audien, whose track "Eventide" was the header for last week's Trance Tuesday. Here we have his latest masterpiece "Unity".

Next is a great new remix of one of my favorites, "Melo" by Pryda the Ashley Wallbridge remix. At about 30 seconds in, the grinding synths come in with a great melody before the real tune comes in and its a true beauty.

This next track is a new remix of a somewhat older track, this is the Beat Service remix to LTN's "Never Let Me Go". You may recognize the nice vocals, but just wait until about 1:45 for the amazing synths that this remix has to offer.

Trance Tuesday - ANJUNABEATS EDITION!

This week's installment of TRANCE TUESDAY is jam-packed with the very best and latest from our favorite trance label, Anjunabeats, which is single-handedly re-defining the genre by using dirty electro sounds and heavy bass while still keeping the trancey melodies we know and love. The video above is a new release from Audien titled "Eventide" which follows the Anjuna formula and earned its spot atop this list of great tracks.

Next we have a familiar track in "On My Way to Heaven" by Anjunabeats' head honchos Above & Beyond, but this time we have the Tomas Heredia At Sunrise Mix which adds a great clubby beat behind the familiar Richard Bedford vocals.

Rising stars Norin & Rad continue their success in 2012 with the release of "Retrograde". The whole track is great, but to get a quick peek at the beauty, skip to 3:30 to hear the magnificent chord progression.

One of the lesser-known names on Anjuna, Nitrous Oxide released this 2 song EP that reminds us why we fell in love with trance in the first place. Have a listen to "Energize" and see what they're all about.

Trance lovers, welcome back your favorite day of the week. We start off this post with the brand new video for Above & Beyond's hit "On My Way to Heaven" off the extremely successful "Group Therapy" album. 

Up next is a HUGE remix of Cosmic Gate and J'Something's recent track "Over the Rainbow"

Spectrum (Armin van Buuren Remix) - Zedd

By now you've probably heard about the "Spectrum" remix contest, as everyday more and more mediocre and similar sounding remixes surface around the web. Well today the legend Armin Van Buuren surprised myself and his worldwide audience on his weekly radio show "A State of Trance" by beginning the episode with his very own remix of Zedd's masterpiece, however, unlike the rest of the pack, Armin stuck to his roots and created this trance gem. Although we do not have a download for the individual track, hit the jump for the entire 2 hours of this week's show along with the tracklist.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Trance Tuesday has returned and in this week's edition we have 5 tracks that have been getting a lot of support by big names in the world of trance. More important than the success of these tracks are the individual sounds and emotions each brings. The beautiful thing about trance is how every song conveys feelings that are greater than words; whether or not the tune has vocals, the feelings can be interpreted however the listener desires. Without further adieu, here we go!

Up top we have Above & Beyond's Club Mix for their latest single "On My Way to Heaven" off of the extremely successful album "Group Therapy"which has been a staple of their sets and radio shows for a while now. Richard Bedford's vocals are amazing and really let you lose yourself in the track.

Next is a very creatively made track by Nigel Good as he takes "Altara" by Johan Vilborg and gives it a more progressive house feel with big room chords, dont miss this gem!

Above & Beyond - Trance Around the World 431 [FREE DOWNLOAD]

Here's episode 431 of "Trance Around the World" with Above & Beyond. This week's guestmix features Ukrainian trance duo Ost & Meyer who have been on fire lately with tracks like "Antalya"and their remix of "Hurricane" which I posted yesterday. Full download and tracklist available after the jump.

Trance Update (3 Tracks)

Just wanted to post three new tracks of the trance variety that have caught my ear from Above & Beyond's "Trance Around the World" radio show. Each track has its own unique sound, but they all amazing productions.

First up is the Gabriel & Dresden Remix of Andain's new tune "Turn Up the Sound". It was featured as the "Record of the Week" on TATW 429:



Ost & Meyer do it again with this remix of "Hurricane". We featured another track by this duo this past Trance Tuesday, called Antalya, and this track has similar sounding chords that ease the mind while still re-energizing your body. This track has been supported by Above & Beyond as well as Armin Van Buuren and many others!



Lastly, we have a new track by Johan Malmgren with beautiful synths that get started early on

Trance Tuesday!

Now that we're starting to get a hang of this whole blog thing, Digital Dankness is looking forward to adding several daily features, and lucky for you today is TRANCE TUESDAY.

 First up we have a huge track by Ost & Meyer that has been widely supported throughout the trance community, most notably Above & Beyond. Amazing track, really gets good around the 25 second mark. Here's Antalya:

Eric Prydz, a name you may recognize from his classic track "Call On Me", has been in the game for a while, and knows what he's doing. His recent EP "Pryda" was hugely successful, and definitely ventures more into the realm of trance than his "Call On Me" days. Before the EP's release earlier this year, he released this beautiful, 8 minute melodic track entitled "Melo". Do yourself a favor and turn this up and listen through to learn how the pros do it. Even better, you can download it free here

Next up, a track that was officially released yesterday on Beatport, but has already been loved by many including the legendary Armin Van Buuren on ASOT 560. Heatbeat goes hard on "Chow Mein":

Also off of A State of Trance 560 is Rafael Frost's latest hit "Channel 4". The track starts off kind of hard, then the melody pulls you in around 3:00. Give it a listen and download it free here.



Last but definitely not least for this week's Trance Tuesday is an edit of Denzal Park's banger Amarok. The track builds up softly until the 1-minute mark where Park comes in with some nice hard synths, just when it seems like it's too good to be true, at around 2:20 the real melody begins its smooth ascension. Below we have an edit by Felix Leiter who chops it up nicely near the end, but otherwise this version is almost the same as the original, except this one is free. Check it out!
