I get really excited every time I see a new Pierce Fulton release simply because I never know what to expect. This young Vermonter has such versatility in his production style. Bootleg giveaways are a rare occurence from Fulton, but he released this bootleg of the Gorillaz "Clint Eastwood" for free on his Facebook, download it and let us know what you think of it!
Here's an amazing track PrototypeRaptor is giving away to celebrate hitting 3,000 fans on his Facebook. Euphoric track spiced up with that hard electro sound you can come to expect from this producer who's bound to explode soon.
It's been a few weeks since the last Flashback Friday, and for this I apologize but don't worry, it's back in full force this week with 5 great tracks everyone will love. Because of the unexpected break from Flashback Friday, this week I'm focusing less on going way back in time and more on giving you guys semi-old, great tracks that you will enjoy.
HOUSE: "2Night" is a classic track from Eric Prydz that really defined his presence in the world of electronic music. This track came out in 2011, after he had established his dominance but it really knocked the point home, have a listen for yourself and hear how great it is.
MOOMBAHTON: The Grandtheft Bootleg of Tyga's "Rack City" captures the essence of the original "Rack City" but adds a little flavor and bass to create something real spicy. Download it for sure.
DUBSTEP: Bassex's interpretation of Wolfgang Gartner's "The Champ" is quite filthy. Its slowed down and heavy sound makes this a must-have for those who love their dirty dirty. HIP-HOP: In terms of the best contemporary rappers, Curren$y has earned his spot in the conversation with his consistency and clever rhymes. "Audio Dope II" off his Pilot Talk album has a chill beat, and his flow goes great over the steel drum samples. Give it a listen.
WEEKLY WILD CARD: This week's wildcard is a favorite of mine. The Alexander Adstedt Remix of Medina's "Addiction" goes hard. It has a soothing melody and nice beat, and when it drops it explodes into a big-room beauty. Don't miss this heater.
I am very excited to announce, My favorite DJ has hit 200,000 fans and releases another bootleg pack. The first one dropped earlier this year and I must say it was 20+ songs I cannot stop listening to. The dutch mastermind mixed countless tracks together and added his own spacemanic touch track by track. The picture above is from his show with Benny Benassi at the famous Governors Island Venue off the shore of Manhattan. This venue has been played by the likes of Steve Angello and Avicii. Keep a lookout for this very quick and uprising star in the future.
Hujje, a Electronic/House duo based out of Denver, Colorado, have recently released a great 9 track bootleg pack as celebration for hitting 2,000 fans on their Facebook page. Inside you will find a an amazing combination of mashups, remixes and edits of great tracks you will definitely love. Have a look at the tracklist below!
Ray of Pressure- Imanos Ft. Jack Sword
This track has been hyped for a full 19 hours now and counting... the very well-established Imanos went to Facebook and stated "Going to give away possibly the best bootleg I've ever done with my friend Jack Sword Tomorrow!" The Canadian DJ who is currently under Mutant Records brings everything to this track. From the simple progression to the deep sounds. The beautifully crafted mixing, completely smooth and the drops each on perfected vocals. This track is a must download and free on his Facebook page.
Up and coming Canadian producer OVERWERK, who recently gave us his J Cole "Werk Out" electro remix has released a GREAT bootleg to tide over the crowd as he begins to settle down from touring and work on more stuff. This new track "Magic Trooper" makes Mord Fustang's original the banger it should have been. Both the original and the remix begin in the same direction, but when the beat drops OVERWERK manages to maintain the great tune while giving us a great electro beat that hopefully foreshadows the great things to come from this young guy.
I recently discovered Brosef Stalin, a new talent in the game with less than 150 fans on his Facebook Page (for now) who recently released these two intriguing bootlegs. The first track is a compilation of 3 well-known remixes of Martin Solveig's "The Night Out" in which Mr. Stalin combines A-Trak, Madeon and Maison & Dragen's remixes into one nice bootleg. The second track which I thoroughly enjoyed is a mashup of Mat Zo's "Bipolar", the LEGENDARY R. Kelly's "Remix to Ignition" with an intro from Moguai's "Mpire". Both tracks are very creative combinations available for free! Although Brosef Stalin's soundcloud lacks the presence of original productions, his ingenuity leaves me curious for what will come next from this man.
MacKenzie Johnson aka DJ MAKJ is celebrating his birthday by releasing this pack of his recent bootlegs. Don't sleep on this kid, all of these bootlegs are well-made and very fun to listen to featuring the likes of Dirty South, Laidback Luke, Nicky Romero, Porter Robinson and more! And as an extra special birthday celebration, I've thrown in a few more notable tracks from MAKJ's soundcloud that y'all might like. This upcoming producer/DJ has quite an interesting story as well, so take the time to read his bio on his soundcloud and check out all his tracks.
